Access to Capital
We can obtain a solid return for taxpayers on the investment of their funds without comprising our values and while encouraging progressive policies be implemented by financial institutions seeking public deposits. During this election cycle, I look forward to sharing my vision for the office with you and to the opportunity to earn your support.

Transparency is essential for maintaining public trust. Citizens should be informed how their funds are invested. The treasurer's office should prioritize investing with partners who prioritize our county’s values, needs, and development.

Financial institutions should never assume public funds will always remain with them without accountability. We will have clear priorities driven by our collective values and financial institutions who hold public funds should share our vision.

As a community banker for the last twelve years, I have seen firsthand how access to capital help can make dreams come true, people obtain jobs, promote homeownership, and affordable housing. As a proud member of the Democratic Party who is also a banker, I have a unique perspective on how capital can be utilized to ensure prosperity for all instead of a select few.
